OUTSIDERS POST 1

To me family is more based on qualities, I think that family can range from people you work with or friends or relatives. Sometimes when you live in a close community your neighbors or your community are family.I think that people that you care about and people you talk to or spend time with can be family. you need to have some kind of trust for someone to talk to them about something personal. You need to like someone to talk to them.The greasers were family they depended on each other and spent time together they supported each other and cared about one another.

feeling like an outsider

A couple years ago I went to my cousins graduation party. I was excited but on the way up i started to get the feeling that i was not gonna fit in or have a good time. When i got there i knew i was right everyone was older and went off into there own thing i sat by myself. eventually i sat with my aunt and uncle but it wasn't like i was having a good time so i was pretty bummed out. I felt really crappy all day. I was pretty much all alone. I couldn't belive i was so excited to go but of course it was a major dissapointment.
